  • A teaspoon of jeera
  • A glass of water

You can make this jeera water in two ways:

  • You can soak the jeera in a glass of water and keep it overnight. Just strain this in the morning and have, or have it along with the jeera.
  • You can add the jeera and water in a pan and boil it. Once it cools down, you can strain and have this water, or have it along with the jeera.

7. Methi daana or fenugreek seeds water

  • A cup of water 
  • Half a teaspoon of methi daana 

How to make:

  • Soak the methi daana in the water and leave it overnight.

  • If you find the taste too bitter, you can let it soak in the morning for about an hour and have it soaked, or as it is. 

8. Saunf or fennel water

  • A cup of water 
  • 1 teaspoon of saunf or fennel seeds 

How to make:

  • Soak the saunf in the water and let it stay soaked overnight.
  • In the morning, strain the water and have it, or, if you are alright with it, you can also have the water along with the saunf.

9. Sabza daana and lemon water 

Sabza ke daaney, or chia seeds, as they are more popularly known now, help cool down your body. Lemon can make you feel full, boost your metabolism as well as keeps you hydrated.

You will need:

  • A cup of water 
  • Half a teaspoon of jeera or cumin seeds
  • 1 or half a stick of cinnamon or daalcheeni 
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice from half of a lemon
  • Half a teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • Half a teaspoon of chia seeds or sabza ke daaney and a cup of water to soak

How to make:

  • Soak the sabzaa ke daaney or chia seeds in a cup of water for at least 10 to 20 minutes.
  • In the meanwhile, add another cup of water to a pan, add the jeera or cumin and daalcheeni or cinnamon stick and let it all boil.
  • Boil this well till the water turns a brownish color.
  • Now remove this from the heat and let it cool down a little.
  • Strain this water and keep it in a glass.
  • Add the lemon juice and honey and mix it well.
  • Add the soaked chia seeds to this mix and stir properly so that everything gets mixed. 
  • Enjoy your warm weight-loss drink.

10. Amla and ginger juice 

Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry, can help improve the digestion of carbohydrates. 

You will need:

  • Half a cup of finely chopped amla 
  • 1 teaspoon of roughly chopped ginger 
  • 1 and a half cups of water 
  • 1/4th teaspoon of rock salt 

How to make: 

  • Add 1/4th cup of water, chopped amla, and ginger, and blend this all into a smooth mix.
  • Strain the mix and add it to a glass.
  • Now add the remaining water and add salt to it. 
  • Mix this well and drink immediately.
