How to make ajwain water?

You will need

  • Ajwain water, also known as carom seeds
  • Water 

How to make

  • In a big pot, add the ajwain seeds and water. The water has to be enough so that it covers all the ajwain seeds and there is still enough water to boil.
  • Now heat this on a medium flame for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Once the water just starts to bubble, turn off the heat and strain the water in a cup or glass.
  • Keep it aside to let it cool down.
  • You can sip it when it is warm like tea. 

Ways to Consume Ajwain Water

1. Overnight ajwain water

You will need

  • Ajwain seeds, also known as carom seeds
  • Jeera 
  • Water 

How to make

  • Soak the ajwain seeds and jeera overnight in enough water so that the seeds are completely soaked in water.
  • Transfer it to a pot
  • Let it heat till it just starts to boil.
  • Turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  • Strain the water and put it into a glass. 
  • Have this water warm or you can also have it when it is at room temperature.

2) Ajwain water with pudina

You will need

  • Ajwain seeds or carom seeds
  • A few fresh leaves of pudina
  • Water 

How to make

  • Roast the ajwain seeds in a pan on low to medium flame. Make sure that you keep stirring the ajwain seeds so that they do not get burned.
  • Add the ajwain seeds to a pan and cover them with water. Now add the pudina leaves.
  • Turn on the flame at low to medium and let the water heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. You should be able to smell the ajwain and the pudina.
  • Now turn off the heat and keep it aside.
  • Strain the water and pour it into a glass.
  • You can have it warm or have it at room temperature.

3) Ajwain water with lemon juice water

You will need

  • Ajwain seeds or carom seeds
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Water 

How to make

  • Take a pan, add the ajwain seeds, and water. Make sure that the water is enough to cover all the ajwain seeds.
  • Now bring them all to a boil till the water turns brown and the flavors of the ajwain seeds are infused in the water.
  • Now strain the water and set it aside, off from the flame.
  • Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix this well.
  • You can have this water warm or have it at room temperature.

4) Ajwain water with ginger

You will need

  • Ajwain seeds or carom seeds
  • Water 
  • Grated ginger

How to make

  • In a pan, add the ajwain seeds, the grated ginger, and water. Make sure that the water is enough to cover the ajwain seeds.
  • Heat this on a medium flame for about 8 to 10 minutes till the water comes to a boil.
  • Now turn off the flame and set this aside.
  • Strain the water into a glass.
  • Have this warm or let it cool to room temperature before having it.

Does Ajwain water reduce belly fat?

No, ajwain water or any other drink cannot help reduce belly fat. The only way to do that is to have a comprehensive weight loss plan and be in a calorie deficit.
