Fitterfly Diabetes CGM Digital Therapeutics Program for Glycemic Control and Weight Management in People With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Real-world Effectiveness Evaluation

Deidentified data of 109 participants from the Fitterfly Diabetes CGM program were analyzed. At the end of the 90-day program, about 85.3% of all participants had significantly reduced HbA1c levels by an average of 1.2%, an important indicator of glycemic control. These participants also lost 2.05 kg mean weight and their BMI reduced by 0.74 kg/m2. For the participants who started the program with a HbA1c of more than 9%, had an average reduction of 2.6%. The study also showed higher engagement with the Fitterfly wellness app in terms of entries of meal, physical activity and body composition, which led to better outcomes in participants particularly with respect to weight reduction.
