This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Fitterfly Diabetes CGM program, which is based on personalized glycemic response (PGR), in improving dietary practices, glycemic control, and weight among individuals with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes. De-identified data from 120 participants were analyzed. After 7 days on the program, there was a significant increase in time in range (TIR)by 10.1% and a significant decrease in time above range (TAR) by 10.3%. After completing the program, there were significant reductions in calorie and fat intake, as well as weight loss. Participants with higher baseline HbA1c levels showed greater reductions in HbA1c. The study concluded that the Fitterfly program can lead to improved diabetes management in individuals with poorly controlled diabetes.
