Managing DRD is immensely important and this study explored the potential of a virtual psychological consult for participants and further analyzed DRD among them before and after the program. Post-program assessment using Diabetes Distress Scale showed the levels of emotional burden and regimen distress were reduced by 25% and 18% respectively while physician distress and interpersonal distress were mildly reduced by 9% and 3% respectively. Therefore, this study safely concluded that remotely executed behavioral interventions were effective in managing diabetes adequately.
