    You may be asked to get certain tests based upon your individual condition.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. To confirm PCOS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this may include ultrasound, blood tests etc. Ultrasound is a way of seeing your ovaries for the presence of any cysts in them. It is not necessary to have an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. You may have PCOS even without the presence of any cysts.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. To rule out diseases other than PCOS<\/strong>\u00a0– In few cases, doctors advise blood tests or perform a pelvic examination to rule out other conditions.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. To check for overall health and complications that can occur with PCOS<\/strong>\u00a0– Your doctor can ask for blood tests such as blood sugar, lipids or check for your blood pressure, weight.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
