However, recent studies show that almost<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/33075086\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> one in three adults in India <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">suffers from metabolic syndrome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More women tend to get diagnosed with MetS compared to men, while people in urban areas are more at risk.
